Marci is anxious. After the fire, now there’s the monsoon—but Turi’s idea of rain barrels is rejected---even if she puts them to more creative purposes. The memorial for Turi’s friend has forced Turi to admit she can find fault with anything—especially if it’s half a tone flat. Marci confesses to the technique that enabled her to endure her kids’ band recitals. Turi explains child prodigies, to her children who are not child prodigies.
